It admits learners from the age of twelve into the lower school where they follow a comprehensive range of subjects in preparation for UNEB, IGCSE and GCE examinations. Kabojja is divided into three sections: the upper school (S5-S6), the middle school (S3-S4) and the lower school (S1-S2). Learners may choose to do either Cambridge (IGCSE/GCE) or UNEB syllabi. The Cambridge programme run a northern hemisphere timetable with final CIE examinations in May/June for both IGSCSE (O’ Level) and GCE (A’ Level), and in October/ November for the GCE (AS Level). The national UNEB programme runs a southern hemisphere timetable with final examinations in November/December

The school aims to promote academic excellence and provide the right framework for each pupil to fulfill his or her academic potential. Pupils are supported, encouraged and guided to obtain the best qualifications. The teacher: pupil ratio (1:40) enables teachers to pay close attention to each individuals academic development. Pupils are expected to master basic academic disciplines and develop sound study skills and appropriate work ethic. The atmosphere within class is positive as pupils are expected to participate actively in their own learning and support the learning of others. They are also encouraged to value creativity, originality and independence of thought and above all a love of learning and genuine spirit of enquiry.

Pupil’s progress is monitored closely and efforts in each subject are graded monthly.
